The Aseema Trust though formally registered in the year 2000, has been functioning informally since 1996. Its major emphasis has been on building bridges among education, arts and the media. Ms V R Devika, its Founder-Director, is a visionary and acknowledged leader in the field of integrating the techniques and cultures of arts and the media. The Aseema Trust has consequently gained much respect and reputation for the social relevance and the excellence of executive of its programmes. I have the highest regard both for Ms.Devika and for the objectives and work of the Aseema Trust. The Trust deserves the support of all interested in the cultural renaissance of our country through the mobilisation of the power of education and the media.
